What we catch, and what we don't
Find the AI is built to spot pictures and videos made by AI from scratch: Sora, Veo, Kling, Midjourney, ChatGPT images and the like. When the file carries a signed record from the tool that made it, we show that as proof.
Classic deepfakes, a real person's face swapped into real footage or their lips moved to new words, are harder. Most of the frame is real camera footage, so they can slip through. A low score is not proof that a video wasn't edited.
Before you believe or share it
Find the earliest upload, check who posted it, and look for the same event from other sources. Listen for a voice that doesn't match the mouth. Pair our verdict with those checks.

FAQ
Questions, answered honestly.
Something else? hello@findtheai.app
Can it detect face-swap deepfakes?
Sometimes, but it's not what it's best at: it's built for fully AI-generated pictures and video. If a face swap is what you suspect, treat a low score with caution.
Can it detect AI voices?
Not yet. Voice checks are coming.
Is it free?
Yes: free checks every day without signing up.
