How it does on Nano Banana

In our tests on images it never trained on, our image model marked 89% of Nano Banana images and 84% of Nano Banana Pro images as AI.

Images from the Gemini app also carry a small visible watermark in a corner, which people often crop out, and an invisible SynthID watermark that only Google's own tools can read.

When the file still has its record

Some Google images carry signed Content Credentials. When a file still has them and the signature checks out, we show who signed it as proof.

Can you read SynthID?

No. SynthID can only be checked with Google's tools. We look at the picture itself and read Content Credentials when a file has them.
