Was this made with Wan?

Upload the video or the image, or paste a link to a video. If the file still carries an AI label we read it, then our models look at the picture.

The label, when the file has one

China requires AI services there to label what they make, and Wan is one of the services whose labels we read, along with Kling, Vidu and Hailuo. A signed record from the tool that made the file is proof, and we show who signed it. A plain AI label is a strong clue, because anyone could add one.

Not every file keeps its label: downloads and re-uploads usually lose the records AI tools write into their files.

When the label is gone

Then the picture has to do the work. Wan is one of the generators our models are tested on, using clips and images they never trained on, and our test results show how often it is caught.

A judgement from the picture is never proof, and a re-upload weakens it.

Video and images both

Our test set includes Wan video and Wan 2.2 images. For an image we read what the file says about itself, then the image model looks at the picture. For a video, two open-source models look at it: one at how it moves across frames, one at single frames, and the timeline shows where it looks most generated.

Where the evidence is mixed, the verdict reads Inconclusive rather than leaning one way.

How do I know if a video was made with Wan?

Check the file here first. If it still carries its AI label, we read it and show it. Without one, we judge from the picture, so treat the verdict as evidence rather than proof.

Does it check Wan images too?

Yes. Wan 2.2 images are part of our test set. Upload the image and the image model looks at the picture; screenshots and re-saves lose detail, so use the original if you have it.

Can it tell Wan from Kling or Veo?

It tells AI from real, not one generator from another. The exception is the file itself: when it names its tool, or carries a signed record we can check, we show you that.

Can it check the audio?

Not yet. Voice checks are coming, so a Wan verdict rests on the picture, not the soundtrack.
